As a Senior Designer/Illustrator at Kidkraft®, my project role was to create the surface pattern design and illustrations for the Bella Dollhouse. The house features a charming color palette of pink, black, and white and is filled with delightful details that make it truly unique.
I created all the illustrations for the house, furniture, and fabrics, using Adobe Illustrator. From kitschy items to black and white cats and kittens, crochet rugs, and roller skate rugs (you’ll usually find a roller skate or two in one of my houses), the Bella Dollhouse is full of character. There’s even a sewing area, a closet full of clothes, and a pink moped parked outside the house.
I used a range of skills and programs, including Mock-Up, CMYK printing, Sewing, Silkscreen, and Production Files, to create the surface design for the Bella Dollhouse. All artwork and design for this project were created and owned by KidKraft, Inc. Overall, the Bella Dollhouse is a fun and whimsical addition to any dollhouse collection, with so many delightful details you can never get bored exploring. Industrial Designer: Kaitlin York
